Are you going to launch an app/channel which is compatible with my Roku 3. I need to be able to display my photos on my smart tv via my ROku box like I can do with Picasa.23 votes
Hi, Greg! To be honest, this is not in our plan right now as yours is the first request we’ve had on this (and our priorities are really guided by what our customers request most).
But we certainly think it’s cool – as we believe ultimately the TV will be one of the best devices for lifecake – so we’ll see if this idea gets more votes from people!
Thanks for suggesting.
Nick from the Lifecake team
I know there are notifications when people click on the heart button but I am wondering if you could add a tab or just something within the existing search function to view these photo's only? Both in the app and on the website, it would be good to view all the photo's that people have liked and then even filter it by child too.3 votes
Hi Nick! We think this is a great idea and something we must have. We don’t yet have a timescale but we’ll be sure to update here when this feature is available.
Thanks for your patience in the mean time!
Hi, Charlotte! The app should be available thee. Can you let us know if you’re on Android or iPhone/iPad?
I need to be able to select all photos in a picasa folder at once without having to click7 votes
Hi, Greg! Thanks a lot for the idea.
We’ve had a few requests to make it easier to bring everything over from Picasa (or Facebook or Instagram). We’re looking into the best way to do this, and we’ll let you know when we’ll have that.
Please keep the great ideas coming!

It would be great if I was able to pay to get my photobook gift wrapped when I send it to Grandma.7 votes
If you add photos from e.g. Instagram, the photos are too small to print well in a photo book, so if you auto-populate (e.g. my child's first year) it puts all the images in but with warnings about print quality - you then have to remove each one rather laboriously. It might make sense to exclude any images which are under the required print resolution, or at least allow filtering by size in the drop down underneath the drawer.1 vote
Thanks, Meg! We usually exclude lower-resolution photos by default, but do you have a lot more than 100? If it’s still showing lower resolution ones even when you have higher quality photos to choose from, then we might need to investigate to make sure we don’t have a bug.
Please let us know if you get a chance. Thanks so much!
This is such a good suggestion, Lisa. Thank you. We really want to enable this and will be looking to do so in the new year.
Add a feature so that you can develop single photos directly without downloading and without having to make a full book. Or is there already an easy way?9 votes
Hi, Frida! Thanks so much for the suggestion about prints.
Right now there is no way to create single prints, but we are looking at this capability. And we’ll see how many votes or requests this gets from our customers.
By the way, which device are you using lifecake on most?
Hi! Would you be able to make the app able to turn into landscape mode to make typing easier?4 votes
Hi Judit! Thanks so much for the suggestion. We’ll add it to our backlog for sure and keep an eye on the number of votes.

It would be great if there was a built in photo editor to add things such as filters and maybe stickers, a lot of companies charge for stickers so you could have a set free sticker pack and charge for other premium ones.
It would be great to just be able to make small edits to photo's and then upload within the app itself rather than editing them in another app and then saving them and then uploading them, it would also free up space on devices...3 votes
Hey Nick! Thanks for the suggestion. We are looking into our options to offer basic photo editing within our apps and from our web – it is definitely something we want to do.
I’d love to know how you (and others) would like to use stickers. What type of stickers would you be most interested in?

Hey ! Thx for this.
It would be nice to have an iOS App and a screensaver for OS X that would be able to get pictures from Lifecake automatically and display them in different formats (as in std OS X Screensaver)8 votes
Thanks for the suggestion, Tom! And so sorry for the delay in responding.
We’re looking into this, and we will update here when we have more information.
Please keep the suggestions coming!
It would be nice to have a lock code option on the iOS app for better security.1 vote
Hi, Michelle. So sorry for the delay in responding. We generally leave the phone lock for this. Does the phone lock not work well for this?
Going through Ivf We have a photo of the embryos and have had 4 scans in 16weeks. It would be to have this date stamp and stage of pregnancy as an option!
Get app otherwise so far.1 vote
Thanks, Hamilton. So sorry for the delay in responding. Are you looking at Lifecake on your phone or computer?
The font used for the "Story" feature doesn't match the beautiful aesthetic of the rest of the site. It looks underdeveloped. I recommend changing the font, or allowing users to specify a font and a color.1 vote
Thanks! We’ll look into this and get back to you.
We have Lifecake accounts for both our son and our cousin's son, and every time we upload a picture we need to select which child it is for. Since we only upload pics for our son (and just view our cousin's son's account every now and then), it would be great if there were an option to make our son the default so we don't need to select him each time we upload.1 vote
Thanks a lot, Samantha. Sorry for the delay in responding.
We are looking into this, and we’ll update here when we have more information.
So the extra shots in the drawer below the timeline can be dragged onto the timeline to replace those selected automatically. But when I drag a replacement photo from the drawer to the timeline, there is a pre-determined order that the photos are displayed in. This is actually a bit annoying! It would be far better if I could drag and drop the exact image I want from the drawer and onto the exact thumbnail where I'd like it displayed.9 votes
We’re so sorry about the delay in responding on this, James. We are looking at our Website and looking to change quite a few things, and we’ll update here when we have a test version. We’d love to get everyone’s feedback!
Instead of having the timeline label be based on how many days or weeks ago the photo was uploaded, it would be more helpful to be labeled according to Baby's age as of the date of the photo (i.e. two weeks old, one month old, 6 weeks old, one year old, etc.).16 votes
Hi! So sorry for the delay in responding to this – it slipped through the net. Can you tell us which device you’re using?
As you look at the Photoi in the timeline, it would be nice to be able to see the description/title as a caption under the image. This way you don't have to click on the image to see it. You should be able to turn this on and off for each photo.4 votes
Thanks very much for the suggestion. Do you imagine that they would always appear? Or they might appear when you put the mouse over an image in the timeline?
I have audio files of my daughter singing laughing cooing as a baby. I'd like it if these audio files can be added and date stamped in the timeline like everything else6 votes
Thanks for the suggestion, and apologies for the delay in responding!
We’ve had lots of discussions about this as a team – as we can absolutely see the value – but we’re not sure when we will add this yet. But we will update here when we have news!
Are you going to have something where you can edit the photos a bit? Like crop images or increase the contrast?13 votes
- Don't see your idea?
