You should offer people an option for a daily digest update of "Loves" and "messages". This would allow me to see what happens on the account over the course of a day without having my inbox flooded as people love every pictures! :)3 votes
to be able to view the images of accts you've been invited to in your app. Eg I have my son in my app but would be good to be able to view the lifecake of my sister's kids from an initial navigation page. Unless you can do this already of course...!11 votes
Hi, Candy! So sorry for the delay in responding, but the good news is that this is available now.
You can view your child(ren)’s Lifecake(s), but also those of others. As long as people share with you using the same email address that you already use in Lifecake, then you can see all children at once (and filter which you want to see at any time).
Please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any trouble!

I would like a gallery including ALL photos, and not only the photos for a given day. In the timeline I can see just a preview all the photos, but if I want to see them all, I have to click on a day, the browse, then back to the time line to click on another day, etc. A bit anoying.2 votes
So when you're uploading a few images or a video, particularly over a slower network, it'd be nice if there was a setting to just 'continue uploading until the job is done'.
At the moment you've got to sit there and babysit the process until all uploads have finished. Compare this with a service like Google Photos where it sits in the background and runs til the end.6 votes
We do as much here as iOS allows us. If you keep the app in the foreground, the uploads will process (and whilst in upload mode the app doesn’t let the device go to sleep). However, once you move the app into the background, iOS will ‘kill’ the app from running in the background after 3 mins (they do this to everyone’s app – not just ours!). One final point to note is that if your device does go to sleep – on going back into Lifecake, the uploads should ‘take off’ from where you left them (rather than the whole process reinitiating).
Hope this makes sense,
The Lifecake team.
Ever since the new update I can't check my notifications, even though it says I have some (red dot over the bell). Please fix this!10 votes
So sorry for the trouble. This should now have been fixed so we’d love to hear from your at firstname.lastname@example.org if that is not the case. It was tied to a bug that prevented your access to What’s New view. Please do let us know if you still have issues here.

I accidentally tagged the wrong child when uploading a picture and now they appear in the wrong album when I filter by child. Being able to change this would be great4 votes
Hi, Detta! Thanks a lot for the suggestion.
This is absolutely planned, and we hope to have it in August in the iPhone, iPad and Android apps. In the meantime, you can change it on our Website, and there is a quick guide here:
One thing as well: we find ourselves sometimes tagging the wrong children in our own lifecakes. And customers have said the same. So in our next iPhone and iPad update, we will have a set of steps which we think will make this much less likely. So stay tuned!
Please keep the great ideas coming!
My wife and I have been using the app for about 3 years I think, and it's amazing, we both love it.
You are doing great job and your product it's the best thing for parenting.
Keep doing it :D1 vote
Huge thanks for the supportive note. Really appreciated. We’re continuing to work super hard on improving the product. Some good updates due shortly on iOS and Web …then we’ll get cracking on more Android improvements :)
Please keep the feedback coming.
Occasionally I will upload the wrong photo to my son's LifeCake-- like one that is out of focus or not the exact one I want. I noticed that even if I delete it from the LifeCake on my computer, it still shows up when my husband views LifeCake or when I look at my son's LifeCake on my Android phone. I think it would be a good idea to let the person who contributed the photo delete it so it doesn't show up to other viewers.2 votes
Hi, Angie! Thanks for the feedback!
Items you delete on your phone or computer will be deleted from others’ devices, but it will happen when they refresh their Website or app timelines. We will investigate ways to zap content without even doing refreshes, but in the meantime you can be sure that the content will be deleted.

I have photos of my baby with other babies who may also have Lifecakes. It would be great to be able to "tag" them in the photos so that the image would appear in their Lifecake too.4 votes
Thanks a lot for adding this, Anna!
We have made this possible. If your friends create lifecakes for their babies – and they share those with you, using your email address – you will be able to tag their babies in your photos. And vice versa. So lifecakes can start to intersect at points.
We realise the sharing of lifecakes is not as easy to find as it should be, so we are improving this – on the iPhone and our Website – over the next weeks. But if you have any questions in the meantime, please let us know.
keep track of peoples' favorites so you can quickly view, download and make a custom book for that individual4 votes
Hi, Katie! So sorry for the delay, but you can do this. If you go to www.lifecake.com on your computer and sign in, you will see a little book icon above the timeline on the right side. If you click on this you will get an option to create a book, and you can even choose others in your family as recipients. If you do, we will auto-create a book with their favorites.
Please have a try when you get a chance – you can create a book without ordering one, just to try it – and let us know what you think.
I'd love the ability to start a book but continue creating it at a later time.1 vote
This is now available, Michelle! You can try it out on our Website by clicking on the Book button. You’ll see an option to access Saved Books.
Let us know if you have any feedback!
Currently there is only an 80 page photo book option. Would it be possibly to have smaller sizes as an option? Such as 25 pages? I have a newborn son and I would love to give photo books for as birthday gifts to my family but I don't yet have enough photos to fill an 80 page photo book. It would also be great to capture specific times or events in the child's lives.2 votes
Hi, Raquel! Thanks a lot for your question.
The good news is that you can make books smaller than 80 pages. That’s just our default size. But you can actually make it 40 pages, if you’d like (and correspondingly less). We don’t do less than that as our hardcover books don’t feel quite right in the hand if they are less than that, and we want our products to feel great.
We hope this helps, but please let us know if that isn’t what you’re after!
It would be great if you could choose a book you'd previously made and then reprint it to send to another family member.5 votes
Hi, Michelle! Thanks a lot for the suggestion. We’ve now added this ability. When you go into our book builder on our Website, you’ll see an option – when you click on the Book button – to re-order books you’ve made (even ones you made before we had this feature) and you can also use this to save books in progress.
Enjoy! And please keep the suggestions coming.
It would be great if you could use this to create a Printable time line album.1 vote
Hey Laura. Thank you for getting in touch. On web, directly from Lifecake, it is already possible to create photobooks. To learn more, check out our support articles for books here: http://support.lifecake.com/knowledgebase/topics/40224-book
